I hate the Clippers but that sucks for them and I'd never wish injury on anyone.

Imagine Portland with Batum and Aldridge.

Aldridge primadonna attitude was a welcomed subtraction.

He really is so full of himself. Didn't defer a bit when he got to SA. Won't let Pop coach him, talks shite about Duncan and Kawhi behind their backs, always getting into dustups around town.

Just a fricking cancer of an addition to the Spurs' locker room. Subtracted a ton of team chemistry bringing that fool in.

U so rite, Bum.

This is the end of the Clippers run. Either or both of Paul and Griffin will be gone next year.

:sigh: yea he has been a good teammate in yr one in SAS. That has zero to do with the 'insecure, sensitive, jealous' guy he was in PDX. Iirc no one was even talking about the Spurs we were talking about PDX.

First paragraph from the link YOU chose:

quote:

"This always happens.

When a player leaves in free agency all these negative stories start to leak out about him. The stories could be 100% factual, but why are they leaking them now, especially when everyone knows they wanted him back on the team. If Aldridge would have re-signed with Blazers, you would have never heard about the following stories featured in the Oregonian."

And yet your hate for sa STILL seeped through

Just bc they wouldn't have said anything doesn't make it untrue Einstein.

Just bc you hate SA doesn't make LMA a primadonna for leaving POR to go there, numb nuts

I'm just going off what his teammates said. I'm sure you know better than the people who spend every day with him for years.

I'm certain you're not smart enough to figure out sour grapes when a high profile FA departs. After all, it's how y'all got Dwight, you idiot.

Again, just because it's sour grapes doesn't make it untrue. It doesn't matter if it was sour grapes OR that they wouldn't have said anything if he stayed. What matters is that his attitude was a drag on the franchise and they are clearly a more invigorated bunch without the sensitive, jealous, insecure ALdridge.

Can we plz skip ahead to the WCF? I really dont wanna sit through 10 days of Portland and OKC getting slaughtered just to get to the series we all know is inevitable.

Just hoping Kawhi, Aldridge, Curry, Draymond and Thompson get to that series healthy.

It's fascinates me that Blake is the go to trade target.

Yes he gets the most in return but "4 quarters doesn't equal 1 dollar" in the NBA

DeAndre is the guy I'd send packing and play Blake about 20 a game at the 5, a la Draymond Green.

As with so many great Western teams over the years, I wonder what their legacy would have been in the East. I wonder the same about:

--the Vlade/Webber/Bibby Kings

--the SSoL Suns

--the 03-07 Mavs

etc.

You swap any of those teams to the East, and it's probably a different narrative.
