81% of his tds came from <5 yards
74% of his tds came from <3 yards
30% of his tds came from 1 yard out

Hes good. But Michigan did everything possible to pad his td stats.

Oh, good lord. What do you consider his generation?

This seasons in the 14 games he played in (stats not in for last night on the NCAA site.

He's 12th in # of carries
35th in total yards
50th in YPG

quote:

Had his Heisman winning season ruined by injury

He wouldn't have even been the leading rusher last seasons and he wasn't going to win the Heisman.

quote:

Then came back and PUT UP TWENTY EIGHT frickING TOUCHDOWNS

OK, cool. That is indeed a braggable stat.

quote:

Would have been the 1st player since Ricky Williams with back to back 25 TDs seasons

You're assuming an awful lot. If he stayed on pace he would not have hit 25 last season.

He's an excellent running back, not a generational talent at running back. Bijon Robinson and Jamyr Gibbs are better talents in my opinion. But that is just my opinion.

We'll see how the NFL teams scout him. That'll give you a better idea if he ranks that high. Currently, I see him rated around #10 of backs entering the draft. His teammate, Jonathan Edwards, is ranked the #5 running back.

I do think that whoever picks up Corum will get a steal, however. He has that intangible quality of desire, a want to, as a quirky former LSU coach/Michigan man used to say.

Ease off the gas there, Ghost Rider. Not even close. People like King Henry might have a lot to say about that.

he 100% was going to win the Heisman last year. He had 100 yards in the 1st half vs Illinois(got injured in the redzone) no reason to think he wouldn't have ended that game with AT LEAST another 100 yards and 2 or 3 tds.

We made Ohio State quit. His backup got >200 yards playing with 1 hand. No reason to think Blake Da Great wouldn't have gotten close to 200

His backups ran for >200 yards and 3tds in the Big10 championship

He would have had at least 1900 yards and 23-25 TDs at the conclusion of the regular season. Doesn't even include what he would have done vs TCU.

I know that this is supposed to be a message board burn but there ain’t anything wrong with that and something to be proud of.

As an LSU fan do I care that no USC fan knows who Kevin Faulk is?

couldn't give half a shite if he never plays a single game in the NFL. But with that said he will have an excellent NFL career.

He wasn't even the best back on Ohio State's schedule this year.

Estime had more yards and almost 2 YPC better than Corum.

I didn't mean it as a slight, just that he is not a generational talent like OP was claiming.

He'd be more impressive without the cheating.

How many 11 year olds do you know that have given birth? Outside of your family?

Hahahahahhaa listen I like Estime but twice in the 1st half vs osu on 4th and short you let Hartman run it(and failed) so how good can Estime be?

You would have beat osu if you had Corum because in those situations Corum is UNDENIABLE.

Shonn Greene’s Doak Walker season at Iowa playing in a mediocre offense was more impressive than anything Corum ever did.
