I’m told Damar Hamlin has a pulse, but is not breathing on his own. He is being transported to UC.
Needed AED and CPR on the field.

Amazing that something like this has never happened in the NFL before, if what they are saying is true. Violent sport.

I hope they just go head and cancel the game. How can you play a football game after that
I think if they can get a thumbs up from him or a smile they can play.
If he’s on life support, no way.

Ambulance was still in the stadium a few minutes ago so they could pull his mom from the stands to ride with him, which means that he’s stable enough they didn’t have to speed to the hospital. Which is great news. LINK
I think they’ll postpone to tomorrow night. That makes the most sense to me at this point.

Does anyone think that that tackle broke one of his ribs off piercing his heart? Idk just spitballin here.
Doubtful. More likely the shot to the heart caused commotio cordis. Think like a baseball hitting a kid in the chest and them dying. The reason they’re constantly making bats have less pop.

He looked like he was out as he fell---he didn't reflexively try to stop his fall or anything.
Prayers for that young man and everyone around him.

Such a routine play. You expect nothing like this to happen.
Reminds me of the Hank Gathers situation. I wonder if he had a preexisting heart condition that went undiagnosed?
Praying he makes it.

Suzie basically was kept asking Booger dumb questions on how to feel when you see a teammate giving CPR.

Apparently he has had a pulse the entire time. He just hasn’t breathed on his own. Sounds like a sternum/trachea injury issue according to bills reporters on Twitter
