NC State would win four games a year in the SEC in football and basketball would be run of the mill behind Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Tennessee

Those are your ceilings though, have ever even made Omaha? 50 years ago? Would you even make a regional in the SEC in baseball?
Gottfried was fired from Alabama for a reason, he's getting good enough recruits to keep NCState relevant, but that is about it. You haven't made the Elite 8 since 1986 and with Gottfried at the helm that isn't going to change even with your best team in who knows how long this year.

We beat Vandy in our regional last year.
We also have the best pitcher in baseball this year. So yea, pretty sure we would.
And nah, a sweet 16 isnt the ceiling of NC State.
