OBJ has a little Terrel Owens in him, Thomas a little Marvin Harrison....

I'll take OBJ and the flash because he is a better receiver

Odell played 27 games verses 31 for Thomas in their first two years. Big difference

(Per game averages in first two years)

Odell - 6.93 catches, 102.04 yards, .93 TD

Thomas - 6.55 catches, 79.58 yards, .52 TD

The stats aren't particularly close, and that is before we even factor in the quarterback throwing them the ball or the run game to keep the defense honest.

This is a very dumb question.

Beckham had 18 more targets than Thomas even with 4 fewer games, so that's a moot point.

Odell but Thomas isn’t a headcase. He also seems to be less injury prone and is a better blocker.

To say Thomas runs as good of routes as Odell or that he has just as good of hands as Odell is utterly absurd

Thomas has a higher catch percentage than Beckham through his first two years, 72.9 to 65.4.

I said that Odell is a better deep threat, and game-breaker.

He's also a total knucklehead that is about to ruin his career, he's injury prone.

And the stats aren't as cut and dried one way as you'd like to make them.

Yea, the quality of targets from Eli and Drew is exactly the same

Michael Thomas is great. Odell is a tier above him.

OBJ is better on paper but Thomas isn't a drama queen

OBJ is better, clearly, but he’s also a drama queen.

Right

Odell >> Thomas

Thomas is the perfect fit for drew Brees’ skillset as an aging QB, though. Reminds me a lot of Larry Fitz. Just a different type of WR from the Odell and Antonio’s

I thought it was pretty obvious that Michael Thomas is a better receiver.

Oh, well we don’t have the information you have. Didn’t realize he was going to ruin his career. Did you tell the Giants about this?

I just heard Michael Thomas will lose a hand this offseason from being attacked by a seal, so factor that in your assessment of who is better. I’d rather ODell with two hands than Thomas with one despite being a knucklehead...not a doubt in my mind

THere are things Odell can do that Thomas can’t

There is nothing thomas does that Odell can’t

Brees>>>Eli

OBJ would be unstoppable with Brees throwing to him.

Through first two seasons, Odell averaged slightly more catches per game, 20 more yards per game, and almost twice as many TD's per game. With the worse QB.

So tell me how that isn't cut and dry?
