Sucher was ranked as the nation's No. 8 Dominator on a list that includes Tiger Woods (No. 2) and Lorena Ochoa (No. 3), among other amateur and professional golfers.

Didn't know this about him...I'm going to see if he needs a caddie.

well lassiter played parkview at lassiter. he did not pitch ten innings in either of the games i was at. we may be on separate thoughts here though bc parkview (francoeur's team) won back to back state titles. im talking about his senior year.

Football was definitely Warrick Dunn. But Kevin Franklin was on that team as well, as was damn near as good. LSU definitely got the better end of that deal....

I'd have to agree with Lester Earl at Glen Oaks for basketball. HS Hoops in BR was a blast then. Earl, Isaac Hawkins at Istrouma, Addarial Smylie at St. Amant, Jody Nelson at EA.... those games used to be dunk fests.

i played against eli and bj samms. bj flat ran me over one time. i put a late hit on eli. got benched the rest of the game. i also saw mike fontenot in baseball. he hit a home run that went straight out of centerfield across the street and into a dumpster. longest ball ive ever seen hit.

Those were some awesome times. Central had some pretty good players/teams those years also. Both of the McClures.

Witnessed Anthony Aucoin from Woodlawn put 48 points on Lester Earl in the parish tournament at Belaire in 94. Lester could run and dunk. Thats it!!

The best player i saw was Randy Livingston in 93. Anthony Aucoin put 30+ on him too.
