to hear some purists talk, nobody has hit any legit homers since Camden Yards was built 
i think baseball is better now than ever. you have a world full of talent, all the new stats, high tech video analysis, pitchers' stuff getting nastier, and now there's steroid testing, so we know all the guys are doing it clean
