There is no tailgating scene at UT-Austin. I doubt Texas is even 2nd best in the state.

Campus is in a giant city. You have to tailgate in parking garages.

Fayetteville is pretty lackluster too, but has been trying to get better over the last decade.

Arkansas’ best tailgating was on the golf course when we split our home games with Little Rock. Nothing high class or fancy about it, just a big couch burning at the end of the night party.

Yeah, I mean you can certainly have a good time on game day for a UT game, but what they do is not what I would call tailgating

North Carolinas tailgate scene was a joke when I was there.

Have a few beers at Scholz and then walk around campus. Tailgating in a parking garage is kind of nice especially when it's 100 degrees in September in Austin but it's not a tailgating culture.

There isn't a chance in a million that fricking Purdue is a better tailgate than Notre Dame, and yes, I've tailgated plenty at both.

How is Notre Dame tailgating? Just curious.

It's pretty damn fun. Importantly, there are 80,000+ people there all day tailgating as the vast majority of the crowd isn't from the area and comes in for the day/night. The fans who attend games are typically fairly well-off, and there are a lot of nice set ups. Joyce parking lot is crammed as hell and can feel a bit claustrophobic, even.

Like the other huge brands out there (Bama, Texas, Michigan, etc.), there are parts of it that are probably more corporate than I'd prefer (Notre Dame Alumni Tent Presented by Coca Cola or whatever), but it's a damn good time, especially for big games.

Not the absolute best place in the country for tailgating, but it punches its weight and then some for sure.

Also, Michigan State is a complete shite show of a tailgate - was up there as far as best places to go in America back a decade or so ago.

That LSU UT game day was particularly rough heat wise. Couldn’t even catch a buzz because I was sweating it out so quick

Tennessee has a solid scene for sure but my vote goes for Vandy since it’s a home away tailgate with a great city as well.

Calling bullshite on Texas and USCw.

I've tailgated in Austin before, back in the Mack Brown days when Texas was actually still in the NC hunt, and it's so spread out and not at all any semblance of a tailgate 'atmosphere.' Just too damn big of a campus.

I know nothing about USC's tailgating atmosphere, but I have a hard find believing that a private school in LA with less than diehard fan base (especially when they're not competitive) would be the best tailgating school in a state as big as California.

Also...we just gonna gloss over Marshall over WVU? Not seeing WVU on there stuck out bigtime.

Lol you think those mid Atlantic fairies even have a tailgate scene? Much less one that remotely compares to the people with Scots-Irish blood running through their veins? Yeah okay.

No way Texas Longhorns has the best tailgating in Texas. I thought it was a disappointing scene at best

Ole Miss has the physical scenery going for it but the actual tailgate quality is complete garbage

Walmart party platters sounded by a bunch of pretentious morons? Garbage

Starkville is its own kind of horrible but no egregious error has been made

bullshite on KU over K-State. Tailgating implies football games. KU can't even halfway fill their stadium with fans. If there is any good tailgating going on around Memorial Stadium it is only because their opponent's fans are doing it.

It was a Barstool troll. They do stuff like this every few months. Most of the map will be realistic but they will target a few states to just make them mad. This was a Brandon Walker troll just to piss off Ole Miss. Look at the name of the data compiler "Higher American Institute of Learning" or Hail as in Hail State.

It's like when the ANUS boys did the favorite fast food map just to piss off the midwest. Melty's is a fake underage dance club that was always 80 degrees inside in Ohio. Or California's favorite restaurant being Denny's but being surrounded by states loving In-N-Out burger. It makes people mad online and is always funny.
