ECU and NC State are the best in NC for tailgating. App State is close behind them, only because it's a smaller crowd.

My father and sister both went to BC. Have been to a number of games. Being a Wisconsin alumnus, and the noted partying in Madison, BC is a lot of fun. Students take over a parking garage outside Alumni Stadium and each level is... wild.
I'm not advocating for BC to be the choice in Massachusetts, but it's fricking fun. You just need to know where to go.

.....and Clemson has better tailgate scene than USC. It’s on a beautiful campus with rolling hills. USC=flat fairgrounds.

LOL @ Illinois. Unless the choice is driven by the opposing B1G school that commutes to Evanston and takes over the golf course, I don't see any reason why NW should be the choice over Illinois. Both schools are pathetic, but Champaign bars get packed on a Saturday.

Bulldog Bash in the Cotton District in Starkville on a Friday night was a fricking blast. Then you have the Junction too in Starkville. Always a great time there.
The Grove is okay, but not nearly as much fun as what Starkville can offer.

Can't disagree with FSU over UF but neither is particularly spectacular.

There is no tailgating scene at UT-Austin. I doubt Texas is even 2nd best in the state.
Campus is in a giant city. You have to tailgate in parking garages.
