Magic Johnson back in 1977. Played for Lansing Everett high school. For a guy as big as him to handle the basketball like he did was amazing....

Basketball: Neil Reed - East Jefferson High School - guy had unbelievable talent, could hit it from anywhere on the court.

Football - Nilo Silvan - St. Paul's- played the best single high school game against us that I've ever seen.

Ledell Eackles at Brosdmoor high back in the early 80’s was a beast on the court. It seemed like every Saturday the morning paper would have a highlight dunk picture of him.

I played baseball against Ryan Perrilloux his senior year. He went 3 for 3 with a HR that went further than I've ever seen at our field. It was my freshmen year, and he was a stud. I was excited to see him go to LSU but that didn't work out as well as I had hoped.

I played basketball against a few kids who played D1 in Memphis. Elliott Williams (Duke/Memphis) then played for the Blazers and Pelicans briefly in the NBA. Lawrence Bowers played for Mizzou, and Jonnie West (Jerry West's son) played for WVU. Dude could jump out the gym. He played for Lausanne after Marc Gasol had already graduated.

The team that Williams and Bowers were on nearly broke 100 on us. When they got to around 90 my coach put in these two fat kids and said "Don't let them score 100."

Also played baseball against Justin Upton in Virginia.

Surprised no one has mentioned her, but Seimone Augustus practically singlehandly beat our girls team in the '02 state title game.

I was talking practice but yeah we were good. I think we went three years undefeated if that was even a thing in middle school.

FCA only had Football one year. They beat the crap out of the bullies, Redemptorist and Parkview. Swaggarts didn’t think they could sustain it. Brad Winters pretty much paid for everything.

Watched Simone Biles compete as a gymnast all during her elementary school years. My daughter was a gymnast that was a few years older. When Simone was a tiny 5 year old level 4, you could tell she had more power in her pinkie finger than any girl out there. She was always special!

Cameron Fleming (Center and left tackle) graduated from HS with my daughter. He was Andrew Lucks center and right tackle. He played with the Patriots a bunch of years and got a Super bowl ring. He's with the Giants now.

I played in the Olympic Development Program and played in the Dallas Cup against Manchester United's U16 squad.

They had a few guys you may know- Beckham, Giggs, the Nevilles, and Scholes. They played our U19 team and smoked us 5-0. And it wasn't that close.

I’m gonna skip the football one because that’s been done many times already, so I’m gonna say Jeremy Bleich from Newman. Dude was a lefty throwing low to mid 90s, and had a swing unlike anything I’ve seen before..

a-hole smoked me in my back because of some pregame trash talk. shite hurt real bad

That’s false. They had it for a year. Then there was a break. Then it came back for three years in a row. They put the goalposts up
