I'm trying to think of the best receivers (not TEs) that were 6"5' and over. So far I've got:

Harold Carmichael - 6"8' 225
Plaxico Burress - 6"5 232
Ed McCaffrey - 6"5 215
Chris Collinsworth - 6"5' 192
Calvin Johnson - 6"5 236
Vincent Jackson - 6"5 230

Although they probably don't belong in the same class as the above mentioned I can also think of,

Joe Jurevicius - 6"5' 230
Brian Finneran - 6"5' 210
Malcom Floyd - 6"5 225

Who am I missing???

Calvin has the potential to be far and away the best from this group

I was trying to figure out which receivers that are 6"5' or better have had some success in the league, and from that discern which were/are the best.

Al Toon was 6-4 or 6-5. He had a solid career before concussions took him out...

Good call, i forgot about him. He had a nice run with the Titans. 2004 season was stellar.

I'm pretty sure almost all NFL receivers have been taller than 5 feet 6 inches

#1. Harold Carmichael, from Southern Universiy in Baton Rouge gets my vote. 14 seasons in the NFL with 590 receptions, about 9,000 yards and 79 TD. Of course he was about 10" taller than the average CB. He was Jaworski's main man on the fade too. Also, 1980 NFL Man of the Year, 4 Pro Bowls, LA Sports HOF, Southern University HOF, etc. HE SHOULD BE IN THE PRO FOOTBALL HOF.

#2. Ed McCaffrey, an athletic freak who dominated DB's. Played 13 seasons, with 565 catches for about 7,500 yards and 55 TD.
All-American at Stanford, 3 Super Bowl rings, but brilliant career cut short by injuries. He could RUN.
