Update

quote:

WBTV spoke with a neighbor who claims he witnessed an argument between Henry and Tonga on Wednesday outside her parents' Peachtree Road home in northwest Charlotte.

The neighbor said Tonga left the house driving a yellow Ford F150 truck. Henry got into the back of the pickup and continued yelling at Tonga.

The neighbor said he heard Henry tell Tongo he was going to throw himself out of the back of the truck if she didn't stop.

From the 911 Call:
quote:

"beating on the back of a truck window. I don't know if he's trying to break into it. It looks crazy....black male hanging on the back of it (truck)."

And Im sorry, hopping in the back of a pickup truck and falling out while it is moving during a Domestic Dispute and dieing from it does not signal to me someone who is on the "Right Track". That is my whole fricking point Lester Squirr

people have domestic disputes every day, that is fricking minor. Jumping into the back of a pickup truck is not illegal.

again, you are a piece of trash for consistently bashing this young man who has just died. We get your fricking point. You can leave the thread now. Whats the point of keep arguing??

we get it, you are some perfect badass who has no feelings. You also come off as a a teenager. You probably have a cloudy outlook on life it self you piece of shite.

quote:

Again, he obviously still had many many problems and those who dont see this are fricking blind.

yes, "many many" problems??? like what??? please tell us. He got into an argument with his girlfriend?? do you know the details of it?? please share.

the Bengals gave him an utlimatium after his last run in with the law, to shape up or be cut. He shaped up. They kept him and has been a model citizen since then.

Karma is a bitch, remember that. When you act like you are some perfect a-hole, it will come back to bite you. Be careful out there kiddo.

1) I do not care that he was getting straight (it didn't affect me or my family).
2) I do not care he was from Louisiana (there's a lot of dead people today from all over. Not sure being from La. makes him any different).
3) I am not happy he is dead (I wasn't really happy or sad he was alive either).
4) I haven't said any prayers for his family (they've needed them for years, mine won't change anything now).
5) I don't care if he RIP's or not (for a higher power to decide).
6) I want to feel sorry for his kids (unless he was abusing them or not providing money that they can now use, then they would be better off).

7) And most importantly.....I won't sit here and argue he was good or bad....she was good or bad...people speculating are right or wrong. It doesn't really matter

i really, really, can't believe you people are talking about him like this.... i knew him, his mother, his brother, his cousins, his football coach, his ex girlfriend, etc... and i'm telling you, the people you hear on ESPN that are saying chris 'straightened out' are not sugar coating the situation... i talked to his 1st cousin on the phone today and she told me that if it wasn't family oriented, slim wasn't involved... i've said it before and i'll say it again, that is someone's son, fiance, friend, family, etc and he did not deserve to die..

looking at it realistically, think about it... if you're in love and about to get married and your fiance tries to leave you, are u gonna just let them go?? or are u gonna try to talk to her and make things right??? i'm in a relationship right now and i know that i could not just let my girlfriend leave IN MY VEHICLE if we were in a fight.. take it for what it's worth, chris did not deserve to die.... RIP buddy you'll be missed...

I'm engaged right now...I would not jump into the back of a truck and risk getting thrown out and dying to try to talk. She'll calm down and come back.

Are you kidding me you fricking shite for brains....

Driving under the influence, marijuana possession, assault, and criminal damaging...all within the last few years. Sounds like just a few legal problems to me.

Seriously, you must be a total Jackleg to believe this.....Henry jumped in the back of a truck while someone was driving it, was beating on the window trying to get to the driver, and was heard by a witness saying he was going to throw himself out of the back of the truck. And it looks like that may be what he did.

Sounds like he was really walking the line Johnny Cash.

Who would have known what Chris was up to better than his family and team-mates? Both groups seem to be saying all the same things about him - he had gotten it together. Sure he made his fair share of mistakes but goddamn the man died a fricking tragic death less than 24 hours ago and some of you feel the need to come to page 13 of this thread and post some off the charts douchbaggery. This was someones son and father; give it rest and find another thread.

He may have had a rough past, but he seemed like a really likable guy and overall like he actually had a good heart.

There are far worse disputes every day then chasing down your fiance and banging on the window trying to get her to stop.

I was really hoping he pulled thru this.

Not sure if its been mentioned, and not going thru 15 pages but its the second N.O. area football NFL'er who has passed away tragically. Marquise Hill as well.

Neighbor sez

quote:

Tonga’s neighbor, Lee Hardy, was perched on a 15-foot ladder cutting back some trees when he saw the yellow pickup “zooming” up the Tongas’ gravel driveway just a few yards away.

Hardy said a shirtless black man clung to the top and side of the truck while standing in the bed, begging her to stop the vehicle.

“He was banging on the top, on the doors, screaming at the lady, ‘We need to talk,’” Hardy said. “He said, ‘If you take off, I’m going to jump off the truck and kill myself.’”

Hardy said she stopped, hesitating at the end of the driveway, and took off.

I'm sorry he passed away. Really I am. I have said prayers for him and his friends and family.

But I'm ready for all the coverage to stop.

I guess cause it happened this morning and I need to stop being insensitive.

But seriously, Favre didn't get this kind of coverage.

I think it aggravates me because every time I see the story I get sad, and I want to stop feeling sad.
