Or maybe the player could just not act like a dumbass. The ref walked away from the situation. Chase followed him and kept screaming at him. He was begging for a penalty.

You can't let players berate officials at any level.
The ref gave him two chances to let it go and flagged him on the third time he came at him. Ref handled it perfectly.

Who cares the referees get berated the entire game by players and sideline. It’s part of the Game. And chase was right.. the corner pulled his weight off his feet and tried to sit on his legs..the exact type of tackle they are trying to get out of the game

Unless a player stays in your face or says he's going to off you or something, grow up and do better at your job.
