As soon as he didn't latch on and say what she wanted him to, her tone became so condescending. I don't agree with Watson, but I certainly don't want to be on the same side as this lady

I get what hes saying, but this cuts against the entire "diversity is our strength" mantra.

Ben Watson is a great man. I’m disappointed he agrees with her piece because she seems to advocate for self-segregation and she pushes the false narrative that college football at big schools is modern slavery.

If guys want to go to HBCUs, that’s completely fine. I have no issues with that. But she seems to suggest that all black football players need to go to HBCUs because everyone there is like them and somehow going to a big school is like being a slave.

And you had to ruin the fun. The fake outrage virtue signaling is in full effect.

The meaning and value of HBCUs has completely gone down and in fact a majority of them are horrid academic institutions. There are many that are great to be honest, but they aren't the majority.

Ans yet they produce the best achievers as compared to white schools.

Facts are facts.

Great idea. They can have the black schools and we can have the white schools.

And then the next thing you know, the Ukrainian model is implemented here and suddenly white guys are dominating football as well...

When Ben was in New Orleans, did he send his children to the predominantly white or black schools? When Ben went to college, did he choose the predominately white or black school? I still like Ben Watson and think he is a great person. However, he is being a virtue signaling hypocrite here in this instance

Why does all of that even matter? Are we supposed to inherently believe that what he’s saying is not genuine because he somehow may not fit whatever credentials you’re looking for?

Not when it's a statement pulled completely out of your arse without a link of any kind to back up your assertion.

What pleasure do you take just for the sake of sounding all woke and shite. Your contributions to this board have been very tedious.

Why does it matter if he himself doesn’t practice what he preaches? Is that your question?

I love Ben Watson but where did he go to college? UGA. A top 50 university academically with a top 5 football team. Yet he wants to advocate for kids to forgo a similar opportunity? Definitely comes off as a equality for thee but not for me moment.
