Belichick has a losing record in New England prior to Brady (5-13)and post Brady and has a losing record overall while in New England without Brady.

He was also 36-44 at Cleveland as a head coach.

Brady made Belichick and it’s becoming abundantly clear at this point.

I don’t know why Belichick even has a job at this point.

After the Pats beat the Rams 2 years ago Belichick had coached in 11 out of 53 Super Bowls - 9 with the Pats and 2 as a coordinator with NYG - that's 25.5% of all SBs.

Let's not forget that they did have their 11-5 season when Brady got hurt and it was Bill who wanted the Pats to keep Garoppolo as Brady's heir apparent rather than trade him.

the 2 are not mutually exclusive. The Patriots did go 11-5 without Brady in 2008 with Matt Cassell at QB.

We will never know, but i think if Brady had been drafted by the Browns or Jets or some garbage franchise i doubt we ever hear of him.

To be fair the Pats, like most teams, didn't have another starter quality QB when Brady was hurt. I know they had Garoppolo, but most of the time that Brady was hurt or absent they were starting some bum like Hoyer or Cassel.

However, this failure of the Pats without Brady could explain why all of Belichick's assistants (sans Flores) suck arse at their other stops; No other team had Brady

That’s the highest win percentage of any Browns coach in the last 30 years (outside this year which is. 6 games deep)

He has the brown’s last playoff win.

Plus he wen 10-6 with Matt Cassell.

This is just not a particularly talented pats team.

11-5

And lets not forget, the first super bowl with Brady was 100% won with Bill and his defense

It’s also apparently easy to ignore that Brady jumped to a team with a ton of talent who’s biggest problem was their QB CONSTANTLY turned the ball over.

It looks like Brady will continue his streak of never playing on a team not in the top 10 for defense

Not his fault, but thats just amazing

What happens if the league doesn't gift them a couple of Super Bowls?

And Spygate 1.0 and Spygate 2.0.

The pats were good and it isn’t like he chose Tampa Bay on accident.

Clearly free agent Tom Brady wasn’t going to end up in a worse situation.

Well you are also forgetting the consistent cheating in the organization.

That helped him too.

Its likely the rule breaking committee was disbanded for China Virus this year.

The Browns Belichick coached moved to Baltimore and became the Ravens. His last year was the year they announced they were moving and season fell apart. The first few years in Baltimore they were not very good, 2000 was their first winning season.

Stop it. Belichick coached the (Ravens) & its disingenuous to keep tying him to the franchise in Cleveland now.

Billick took over & won a SB in 2 seasons with the Ravens & Harbaugh eventually replaced him & won another.

The 6 seasons preceding Belichick in Clevend the Browns( Ravens) made 5 playoff appearances ,won 4 AFC Central divisions & made 3 AFC Championship games.

2008 has already been mentioned and they went 3-1 when Brady was suspended in 2016 He's done fine without Brady when the team was good. The roster currently is not good and that i think is a big part of the reason Brady wanted to leave, its not caused by his departure.
