Tried to start one again in like 2013-2014. Got zero support from the UREC. Basically killed it right there. That and Leo’s closing a few years later.

Yea I remember but I meant as an NCAA squad. However, even ACHA D1 teams have decent venues and support in some places.

Played for the lsu team back in 07-10. They had some random teams from the south with nice rinks like Texas Tech, Bama & Arkansas.

Should be a good crowd tonight based on Ticketmaster. Those lower level tickets are all handicapped access btw.

If BR can turn out even close to that for 3 games we’ll definitely have the Kingfish back next year

No but the River Center is about half the size of the Smoothie King Center so “uppers” aren’t really the same thing. You should definitely go.

Bump.

Couldn't make it tonight. What intrigues me most is the price of beers. I'm assuming they will be in those little 10 oz. plastic cups or something similar, which means they shouldn't be over $4. This is minor minor league hockey.

Not a good showing so far by the centroplex. One gate open line even with prepaid tickets is down the road. Zero chance I come back if this is how they’re going to run these games.
