I saw Stewart Mandel do this on what seemed to be a pretty benign tweet this morning. I thought it was pretty weird.

frick Forde, Thamel and Mandel. In before they say “This is is our livelihood so why would we want it canceled?”

Thing is, they can’t help but let their personal political views get in the of otherwise being professional and just covering this without snark. So as they continue to chide people for saying they’re rooting for football’s cancellation, they continue to room for cancellation. They can’t help themselves because all three of them are elitist pricks.

I knew one of them personally, and I can attest to the fact that he is a condescending, elitist prick.

So from not at all, to next spring, to next January, to turkey day, to Oct 10.

This is hilarious.

Let them play a 7 game schedule so they will be done at same time as the other leagues. Play everyone in your division and one cross-over.

You forgot to start with "From "normal season with no non conference" to not at all...."

If Big 10 does start October does the playoffs wait for them to finish
What about PAC12 - do they reverse course if Big 10 does

If it happens I'll just be happy to see the Buckeyes take the field. The players deserve to play.

They could at least have a 6 game schedule (play everyone in your division only) then a conference title game. Wonder how the committee would feel about that. Maybe require 4 conference champs?

I don't think either will start before November, their schools would be facing a ton of lawsuits.

But they will definitely lose all of the Title IX lawsuits if they bring football back in the fall. The Nebraska parents lawsuits won't amount to anything, other than the Big Ten having to release which medical data they used.

At this point, I hope they fail
Well their conference champ won’t win the NC so ultimately it’s like they will.. fail anyway?

It has less to do with Trump and more to do with the Big 10 realized they screwed up massively and were about to miss out on a crap ton of money.

Oh, it’ll make a difference, Pete. Either the B1G plays or Biden loses some of the most important swing state votes.

Whether you agree with the decision to postpone the season, it’s not changing. It can’t. If it does, a lot of university presidents/chancellors will have a ton of explaining to do. And Kevin Warren may be out of job. The constant leaks have been embarrassing at the very least.

Big10 definitely realized they messed up but Big Don was smart enough to get involved at just the right moment to take the credit!

Art of the Deal.
