To all my downvoters, how many nba players could skate if thrown onto the ice? How many would have the hand eye coordination on top of that while being hit into the boards? Plenty of NHL athletes could step onto a basketball court and drain some shots.

I agree that hockey players are the best athletes overall, but it goes beyond just skating, boarding and the speed of the game. It's their toughness. Sometimes you see embellishment but not true flopping. Players can lose their stick, skate blade, teeth or be injured and play continues.

The point is that elite white American athletes are choosing other sports to play. It's not good for the country if white kids don't play basketball and black kids don't play baseball.

Seems like there are more white NBA players now than 20-30 years ago. Bc of the Europeans. The “white men can’t jump” mantra was bigger in the 90s IMO.

YEP the early 90's "White Men Can't Jump " Era ignited / awakening some of the White race better step it up; that it wasn't funny anymore.
Soon thereafter Brent Barry then went ahead & became First White Player to WIN the "Dunk Contest" in 1996.......jumping from Dr.J's Foul-line
