Meh. They can have him. He's a great talent that's never put it all together and he's a well-known docuhe.

The offense, and I mean Ozuna/Rosario/Acuna, needs to improve significantly. Currently they look like shite. I hope they get turned around. Watching them flail hopelessly at pitches is maddening.

Alright, now this one makes no sense. Kenley hasn't been worth $16M this season. No reliever is.

And I can respect that.

But that is a good way to get banned.

Maybe a change of scenery will be good for him. The Angels are a dumpster

Disagree totally.

This trade feels like a big waste of money.

Hey AA you grabbed the wrong Angels pitcher (Ohtani)

He was pretty solid with Cincy but agree. Seems like a reach rn. Hope it pays off. I’m done doubting AA

He was fantastic last year for the Angels. But they really need him to get back on track this year. His overall numbers are not bad. Not too many hits or walks allowed, but the ERA is over 4. Maybe he's had some bad luck.

edit- who is the little chicken who keeps downvoting me, no matter what? Say something, quit being a coward.

A lot of red on his savant page which is usually a great sign.

Somebody with swing and miss stuff like that (even if the slider hasn’t been as good as usual this year, he’s still striking out over 12 per 9) is a dangerous bullpen piece for the playoffs.

We already have the best bullpen in the sport by most metrics and we are swapping out Chavez and Smith for Iglesias and Yates. Seems pretty good to me.

They’ve told us who they are at this point. We are a top 5 or at least top 5-ish team in MLB and firmly in our window, I don’t buy that it’s just AA wanting to hold prospects (from a system that’s not even that good anymore) at this point. There’s really no reason we couldn’t have gotten Thor, Drury, or Merrifield if we really had the salary room for it. Merrifield has a really affordable contract as well.

I’m assuming they left room for an in-season Dansby extension, then will work on Fried after the season (if they intend to) or after they get Dansby or Dansby’s replacement squared away in the offseason .

He hasn't allowed a run in his last 5 outings, but has also given up at least one hit in his last 4.

His slider isn't the same as it was last season.

Assuming we go Fried, Wright, Morton (which is what Bowman said they are leaning towards)

This seems like a pretty dangerous pen come playoff time

Jansen
Iglesias
McHugh
Lee
Strider
Yates
Matzek
Woods
