Who do you sell?

You give up too soon on some of these guys on the long, cheap contracts and it could really bit you in the arse.

I guess Ozuna?

Sounds like AJSS will need Tommy John

Elder szn back

Next move has to be to let Snit retire or something. Even if they promote Weiss as interim I think that would at least wake some people up.

Totally willing to take that risk. Most of them suck.

We will just have to take a loss. The only way we move these 3 is taking it up the arse

Murphy being 30 now would lessen the value some but he’s on pace for a 3+ WAR season in less than 100 games and has an OPS near .850.

Would be his fourth 3+ WAR season in the last 5 years. Outside of last year with the injury he’s been rolling out of bed and putting up 3 WAR seasons every year since 2021.

I think the deal he’s on is probably a bit of a bargain compared to what he’d get if he hit the market this offseason.

With Baldwin looking more than legitimate and some of the other clear holes we have I don’t hate the idea of trading Murph. I think you could get a legitimate piece or two back. He’s an upgrade for probably 2/3 of the league at catcher on a reasonable deal.

Olson I think you could get quite a haul for without a doubt. No reason to trade him in my opinion but if you did you’re certainly not eating money or taking it up the arse. Riley is the biggest concern for me long term. I wouldn’t hate trading him but seems like you’d be selling low.

Don't remember seeing it mentioned earlier but pinch running Baldwin was certainly a choice. But sure would have been nice to have had him hit for Eli in the 9th.

Giving up way too soon on Olson. All Star, Gold Glove, Silver Slugger. Nearly MVP.
Keep Murph and DH Drake a good bit next season when he isn’t catching. Trade Marcell now or don’t resign him next year and use his money on someone else.
