He hasn’t been very sharp. If he didn’t have a no hitter I don’t think it’s even debatable. You don’t let him go a third time through in a one run game with a rested Minter and Matzek imo.
They will probably try to get some length from Wright or Davidson this weekend so I don’t think those are both necessarily straight bullpen games anyway but if you lose today you’re in deep trouble anyway with those games looming.

Disagree. I’d run him out there until he gives up a hit or a walk. Worst case is he leaves with a runner on. Best case is you. Get another 3 outs and save the bull pen.
