So if Acuña was the same personality as say…. Mike trout or Freddie freeman? I would be complaining? Nah

There’s a place in the sport for boring white dudes. There’s also a place in the sport for players like Acuña, Tatis, Machado, and Rodriquez.
All are welcome, and I couldn’t be happier that Ronald will be a Brave for many years to come.

This is from the outside looking in but I do agree Acuña does need some accountability at times. I think Ozzie’s presence on the be field is huge for him. He is the only guy Ronnie seems to respect enough to take criticism from.
He seems to be much more locked in and productive when Ozzie is healthy/with the team every day.

You didn't answer my question:
Who replaces Acuna?
Who replaces Acuna?

Perfectly fair. Ozzie is the Yin to Acuna's Yang.

Yes it’s strictly bc he’s not white and not from America… :rolled eyes:
So your response is I don’t like Acuña because I’m a racist? Lol that’s…. something
I never even said I didn’t like Acuña. You ignorant frick. I said trade him. He would bring a wealth in return for trading him. It is obvious that they don’t NEED him to win a WS. He is lazy. He takes plays off. He doesn’t play hard in playoff games. He needs a babysitter.etc etc
But yea… I personally don’t mind some emotion and excitement from players. There’s also a professional element to how players act that I lean towards enjoying seeing moreso than I do all the showboating. You wanna flip a bat? Fine. Want to do a little hand signal to the dugout when you rip a double? That’s cool too. But do we have to bat flip, do a hand shake at 1B when you round it, do a dance going around 3B then do another hand shake/dance with the 3B coach then do another dance as you touch home? That’s a bit too much for me. You like it? Great. I just don’t care for it

So now I know not to take your opinions
about baseball seriously.
Only a dumb frick would even hint at even trading Acuna.
You still didn't answer my question who you would replace Acuna with? You keep dodging.

Edited my post
There are a lot of passionate Braves fans here, which makes it a great place to post. It is ok to disagree with each other. I have only been posting in the Braves threads for a little over a year, but this season was a lot of fun. I appreciate all of y’all’s opinions and different ways to see things, even if we disagree.

it wouldn't be an ATL thread unless someone causes the other of being a racist.

I rescinded the racist statement in my reply to you earlier. There is no excuse for even insinuating that and I apologize.
Posted on 10/18/22 at 7:08 pm to 21zereaux
I went back and removed the racist insinuation. It is wrong on every level and there was no excuse in me bringing it up.

Edited my post as well. Your’re a good man SBD.

I'm not perfect(far from it) but I'm better than resorting to that.

Very curious what happens to Ian Anderson over the next year.

And Soroka.
Hopefully Ian worked on that 3rd pitch at Gwinnett.

Didn’t he get hurt pretty soon after we sent him down?

Nothing to base this on, but my gut feeling is that he's thrown his last pitch for the Braves. I think he gets traded in the offseason.
There is a logjam of guys looking for that 4/5 spot in the rotation. While you can never have enough rotation depth, I do think one or two of those guys will get moved and I'm just guessing that Anderson will be one of them
