Of course, but the Astros aren't in a pennant race. The Tigers are. To me they have the team to do it this year. Finally got enough protection for Miggy with VMart. But he ain't getting any younger. Have the bullpen in Albuerque and Valverde. To me they are just missing a lead off hitter and another starting pitcher.
And with the ceiling that Jackson has they wouldn't have to give up Turner. Just one of those lefties in the farm system with Jackson would be enough IMO.

He is not that short of that. He is a very good ballplayer. He hit would third or fourth on a decent amount of lineups, including the Braves, which seemed to be the most likely destination.

At least they're looking for getting something well worth the deal and not willing to give up the face of your franchise and a great player in years to come for a couple of decent players.

Buuuump that. Reddick is showing patience, which is literally the only thing he hasn't shown over the years. Renaudo is going to be a helluva pitcher, and I don't want him getting away.
