I don't understand the fascination with tandem starters. You start one, hoping he goes 6+. You're not gonna take him out if he's dealing.

I’m advocating that you should regardless. Morton and Peacock have a huge drop off after first time through the order and an even larger drop from 2nd to 3rd

Both their ERAs are like 1.2/3.7/7+

ETA: and it still allows them to pitch later in the series, in short stints

This is such a weird game. Its only 1 game but the momentum is clearly on their side. Our ability to string together hits is gone and strike zone per the fox on screen rectangle (which I hate) showed a pretty one sided ump. Oh well shite happens that's why it's a 7 game series

I'd be okay if one of these wagon riders would start "the" game thread so that we can go back to a true DAT.

Yes, Dire Wolf it is.

For those worried about Astros offense, we K'd 9 times to the Yankees 27 in the same span.

It's hard for me too b/c of the heartbreak and scars, but we need to relax.

The biggest positive we gained from tonight is learning that Harris won't see the mound, and Gattis won't get behind the plate.

Judge strikes out chasing low and away. Imagine that. Will Harris covered his eyes on that pitch.

There's absolutely no doubt about that whatsoever.

Still think you just ride with Morton in that situation. He owned judge already and he didn't look to be rattled given the fricked inning..

Whatever, doesn't matter. I'll let ryno second guess hunch

I still don’t understand why he’s pitching tonight and not getting the ball in game 4
