You really need to get a new GIF. Thats what 3 times Ive seen you posted this? The best part is the Yankees got beat 4-2 that year, just like they will this year.

It was pretty funny.

And the foot was definitely off the bag.

Who’s stepping up with the thread today? Community leadership is key.

I think Dire Wolf was nominated last night. If not I'll do it. I had a couple smaller win streaks in there

If by "woke" you mean a bunch of bloops and bleeders, a check swing homerun that went about 330 feet, and one legit homerun on quite possibly the dumbest pitch selection ever made in a MLB game, then yes, the bats are now "woke".

Wow. This isn't far from "if Houston had only scored more runs than the Yankees, they would have won". Good job.

I am not demeaning at all what the Yankees did. They put the ball in play and got hits when they needed them and found all the holes. But to say their bats are back and are on fire, or "woke" as the other guy put it, would be stretching it. They didn't exactly rip the ball all over the ball park.

That is not to say that the Yankees won't show up today and start blasting the ball. They might. And the Astros might. But I think the Astros mindset will be that the Yankees still haven't demonstrated that they can consistently hit their pitching and that last night was a culmination of a lot of flukes.

Good post.

But I have a hunch that the Astros are done.

BUT if they win the pennant, I will tip my cap and bow in respect.
