I’ve said it a million times idk what’s so hard to understand. Laureano has every right to be pissed. Getting hit sucks. He took it too far and yes the Astros coach has a right to have his rookie pitchers back. What’s wrong with having your guys back?
This is what’s so funny if it was any other team or group of people it’s celebrated because the guys are having each other’s back. But again, orange team bad not allowed to take up for one another

As a coach in professional sports, you probably shouldn't be provoking a fight with an opponent

I won’t defend Cintron. He can chirp, but he shouldn’t have dared him to come towards the dugout. He’s gonna get it from MLB, more so than a player would. Rightfully so.
However, Laureano was showing up a rookie pitcher bigly, on a pitch that he absolutely knew was not intentional. The “show him how to throw a slider” or whatever the hell that was was shitty and kinda weird. I would expect veteran players to take up for a young guy in that situation. No matter what was said, if you charge a dugout, you get some blame too.

It’s not like it’s never happened before
And Cintron deserves every bit of the suspension he is going to get but to act like it’s this big gravely sin that he’s chirping and trying to have his 23 year old rookies back is asinine

Nobody should get suspended.

I’m not bitching about Kelly’s wildness, just his smack talking to Correa. No room for that in baseball.
I don’t believe Kelly was trying to hit anyone throwing breaking balls.
The fastball to Bregman’s head, that’s awful questionable, but the other pitches? Nah.

Extremely typical response. Do smart Cubs fans actually exist? Cuz I don't think they do.

We are talking about a guy who busted out his window in his back yard. If Kelly had wanted to hit him, he would have. I wish he had now
Not only are you intelligent, but you're also a classy individual.

Laureano and Cintron deserve to be *under Covid era rules* and they will be. I've got a feeling Cintron is going to get reamed. With as tough as MLB is trying to be on bench clearings, you can't have a coach egging on a player to start a fight. He's gone for a while.
I just hope we don't get stung with other suspensions of guys who made contact trying to de-escalate. That would be 2 of our catchers, Springer, Yuli and Reddick at a minimum.

Why are we forgetting the 91 heater in the back as well in the 5th?

When it comes out tomorrow that cintron is actually laureanos tio, things will hit the fan.

Astros probably don’t get to decide what does and doesn’t belong in baseball for a little bit. Their judgement is questionable

But you're cool with Correa glaring down Kelly after every pitch that was on the inside side of the dish? Such a typical Astro fan mentality.
Still think comments like these are fricking hilarious given how high and mighty all the Astro fans were regarding their team banging on a fricking trash can to give away opponents pitches. That was totally cool to all of the Astro fans on this board.
Bunch of crybaby twats

Surprised he wasn’t granted immunity

Agreed, Cintron deserves every bit of that.
Shocked Laureano's is so low, but the right call at the end of the day.
