Yes and no

I might be here to gloat.

I also might have let you guys have bliss, peace, and happiness in your little circle jerk DAT thread.

So are you saying the series will go to a game 7?

Unless a miracle happens in game 6, yes. The Astros are in the worst hitting slump of the entire season and it's not even close.

No

Not like Astros in 2017

Yankees need 2 in Houston, 1 vs the best pitcher in baseball

It would be monumentally better

I was listening to MLB radio today and those clowns were already talking about how the extra rest impacts the Nationals pitchers vs the Astros bats.: casty:

Too many people wrote the Yankees obituary last night when all they needed to do was win tonight, throwing a pitcher who's historically dominated us. We suck arse against Paxton.

Now the Yankees got JV out of the way, face a rookie/bullpen game tomorrow and have to feel pretty good about facing Cole after they had a pretty solid approach against in him in game 3.

JV pitching tonight lines him up for the next series better, and THAT’s what you’re playing for

I don’t see why there is so much discussion about it

I don't either, the only difference for me and others is I would pitch Cole vs the Yankees bullpen to force the Yankees and end the series. Although I understand why the Astros will not because if it fails then the Astros are going bullpen game 7

Do we think one of or both offense absolutely break out tomorrow?

I don’t have much faith in this offense. Which gives me pretty bad vibes about the guys we have going matching the guys the Yankees got pitch for pitch. Tomorrow will be fascinating. Two teams going bullpen in a game 6 of a league championship series.

Yankees needed 1 vs Verlander and Morton who was like pitching Greinke a third ace, this time Yankees would need 2 vs a bullpen and Cole

We would be content to let Bregman and Harris get two more rings for LSU.

I don’t. I know it’s short rest, but you need to end this ASAP and get a couple days off. Nats pitchers been resting for a week

It’s gonna sound like sour grapeS, but I’ve always thought that the 3 game stretch at the lower seed teams stadium was bullshite. We’re most of the way through th me series and they e played more games at yankee stadium than Houston. I much prefer the 2-2-1-1-1 over the 2-3-2
