Eh, they were in a hole early but never really threatened to get out of it. That 3 run bomb could have been a single and they still lose pretty badly

Most any series I’ve ever seen that the team was up 3-1 they pitch their 4th starter. Now you lose with one of your aces who isn’t great on the road and now you have to pitch your 4th in a higher leverage situation.

We talked about the possibility of JV and Cole going 4-0 being unlikely, and we would need someone not named JV or Cole to get a win and we got that (Greinke).

Verlander was pitching on normal rest, I wouldn't go any other way. If he was pitching on short rest I get the argument but if you can't count on your "ace" on normal rest on the road then is he really your "ace"

If Yankees come back and win it then the Astros will have given it to them. Something tells me we might get a lineup change fomorrow. Need good contact guys to run up pitch counts and keep pressure on their defense...and Alvarez ain’t getting it done. I’d put Correa in 5 with yuli in 6 then Diaz reddick and chirinos
