I played roughly 18 years ago. We definitely played on 45/60 at Majors. I think Pony moved us up to 60/90

I remember in majors we had to stay on the bag until the ball crossed but we could steal.

The left side of the AP infield looks legit.

99 is lucky to not have been earholed.

Does Louisiana have to win twice since they came through the loser's bracket?

If not, kinda fricked how they are the home team for this.

LSU was the home team twice in a row against Wake. Would this not be basically the same thing?

That was pretty fricked too, if we're honest, but I can live with the result.

I’m not sure you don’t want that means It’s the length of the baselines and the mound to home plate.

No fricking shite.

I didn’t watch the game but I guess this is going viral. Just saw the clip of the bat flip, home plate jump, and then sitting legs crossed on 2nd base. frick that kid.

you said at 10 you played on a full sized baseball field. That is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard

It’s truly hilarious trying to picture that

I saw the 12u team USA kid do similar stuff. Hey, you’re bigger than most grown men at 12, and you hit it out of a park that’s 275 to dead center. Wow!

People talk about hating baseball’s unwritten rules, but that’s the kinda stuff you get when the “why do you hate fun” people win. It can quickly become a clown show. I’m waiting for a pitcher to follow a hitter to his dugout talking shite the whole time and gesturing when he gets a big two out strikeout.

99 from Oklahoma was such a little shite.

Kid was doing meditation poses, sitting on third base while he was a base runner

It may have not been 10 but 11 yr old we were absolutely playing 60/90. I went to the field today and it still is. It used to be 325 to center but they have moved the fence in some. It was a big arse field for our age.

Had to ask someone I played with and even said 12 to see if he agreed but 11 is what I’m 99% sure it was.

Found the info below, pretty interesting.

Pitching Distance: Little League
Things are a little different with Little League pitching distance.

First, the organization is organized into five divisions based on a combination of age and skill level: Minor, Major, Intermediate (also called 50/70), Junior, and Senior.

Second, the organization gives local leagues some leeway in deciding when players can "play up" or "play down" a division according to skill level or parent preference.

Here's the full breakdown of pitching distances by Little League division (with age in parenthesis):

Minor (9-10): 46 feet
Major (10-12): 46 feet
Intermediate 50/70 (11-13): 48 feet 6 inches
Junior (12-14): 60 feet 6 inches
Senior (13-16): 60 feet 6 inches

13-14- intermediate-54/80

here is a guide to all the different leagues. PG/2d/USSSA and other tournament orgs are not listed.
