To lose 4-1 in the nba finals?
Every game thread was full of comments about how the spurs were the much better team and if they didn’t choke this series would be over tonight.
Well guess what?

Wembanyama shot 42.3% in the NBA Finals. Holmgren shot 51% in the WCF
And Wimpy got exposed for being a dirty player and still having front office helping him.
Congrats to NY Knickerbockers. They earned that title. Had to play 8 vs 5 and come back down every game. Thats an all timer.

It is crazy they dominated the knicks in every single game and then still found a way to lose.
An argument could be made they should have swept.
I think they had a 15 point lead in every single game? I don’t think i’ve ever seen that kind of breakdown before

Maybe but this was a very weak Championship team in the Knicks.
OKC would have beaten them. Denver with a half a healthy team would have beaten them as well. And neither of these two teams are anything special.
