They know that Tom Brady was Belichick.

Brady doesn't have the first 3 without BB. Defense and an all time great kicker got them the first 3. Go back and watch the games.

I don't know but he did pretty well with Matt Casell and Jimmy Garapola

That was a long-arse time ago. Long before his dumbass hired a DC who had literally never called offensive plays to be OC for his second year QB.

How many Super Bowls, not games, is the way I worded my question.

A lot of people point to this but forget a few simple truths from that 2008 season:

1. The New England Patriots had the easiest schedule in the NFL that season.

2. The New England Patriots returned virtually the same team that went 16-0 the year before.

3. The Patriots missed the Playoffs and lost five games.

Yeah? How many playoff wins did he achieve with those two? Or Bledsoe for that matter

NE didn’t have an offensive or defensive coordinator in 2022

It’s better to just leave people that far gone alone

pats fan here, can confirm bill is not a good coach. He had his woefully unqualified son on staff. He ran off tom Brady because of arrogance, he did nothing without tom. Why would anyone want him? He isn't the talent, it was Brady

A lot of analysts are guessing that teams are passing on him because of who he wants on staff. Probably wants McDaniels and Patricia. If he was going to bring in younger, hungrier coaches with fresh ideas, he’d probably get hired.

Bill seems to play things really tight to the vest and doesn’t seem to bring in any “outsiders” to his coaching staff. Game might be passing him by tbh

This. And I’d argue he doesn’t win the last one against the Rams, either. He put on a masterclass on McVay. These fricking retards will denounce his greatness because they want Brady to get all the glory. Brady is still the GOAT. But he also had the greatest NFL coach to ever do it.

When they parted ways it looked like Bull was doing a lot of posturing hoping to even get a job.

Nobody wants a soon to be 72 year old control freak who hasn’t done jack without the GOAT quarterback, at least as far as winning rings.

"So Bill, let's talk strategy. If we were to hire you as our head football coach, how are you going to carry our team to the top of the mountain? What's your plan for success?"

"Well, first I will draft the greatest player in the history of the sport, preferably with a late-round pick. Then I'll make sure he's married to a supermodel who makes more than he does, so he'll be willing to take less money so we can put a better supporting cast around him. In my experience, I've found that everything just sort of works itself out after that point."
