Maybe ngannou can fight a Paul cousin on Tubi or something next

Keep the checks coming in since his boxing career is stalled out

Well that mystique is now over. After this giant crushes him in for the PFL championship he’ll be end up a what could have been.

Do you think he’ll come back and fight Bones for one more payday?

I don’t blame Ngannou for chasing his dream to be boxer, but dude could’ve dominated the UFC. He’s better in the octagon than boxing ring.

Those feints by Joshua threw Francis for a loop. Once Joshua saw how easy it was to get through Francis defense with straits to the head, and how slow Francis was to react, it was just child's play at that point.

Joshua hit Francis with the exact same 2 right hands to end the fight on the knockdown then then the KO.

Fury either came into that fight tremdously out of shape or it was a fixed fight. I refuse to believe he couldn't have KO'd Francis at will of he actually took the fight seriously.

Either that, or the fight tape in Francis showed a glaring weakness in his defense that Fury clearly didnt know about before their match.

Either way, Francis is now a dead draw as a fighter. All the luster of the Bones fight is kind of gone now too. Francis can only get it back if he goes in and destroys Ryan Bader or whoever the hell the PFL gives him.

Then he may be able to salvage something, but he chased and made the $$ and his career is probably 2 fights from over now.

He's made more money in these 2 boxing matches then he was ever gonna make in the UFC.

He made 600k in his last UFC fight and just made $20 million getting KOd. He definitely made the right decision

Can’t blame him there, he’s also said he’s always wanted to be a Boxer, so I don’t I have an argument that it was just about the money either.

I still think his skill set is more suited for the octagon. But can’t blame him for leaving. Dana needs to do a better job sharing the wealth with his fighters.

Ngannou turned down a contract offer that would have paid him 5 million+ per fight and probably ppv points as a champion.

Definitely the right move because of the boxing paydays but the UFC offered him to be highest paid HW ever even though he wasnt a real draw.

In MMA, the fight would have probably been stopped after the knockdown in the first round. Instead, in boxing, Francis took dozens more and TWO more KO-type blows until his lights were ultimately turned out.

After the second knockdown, he was out on his feet. He had nothing behind his eyes and he knew it, and so did Joshua.

By the sport allowing a fighter to recover, it actually brutalizes them more in many ways. There is a lot more glitz and circumstance around boxing, but it's an absolutely brutal way to make a living.

no he didn't

that is the LIE that Ariel and other anti-UFC "reporters" are saying, but facts are facts.

How much did they pay fury to carry francis for that last fight so they could squeeze a nickel out of him.

Fury is not that good. Most Brits will tell you the same.

How does Dana's nuts taste? Can't believe you're shilling for someone that 100% underpays fighters. Tyson Pedro was talking about how he basically lost money last fight night and joked around about having to rob someone in the parking lot.
