This made me curious and it looks like taxes paid for the upgrades in 2003. Not trying to be an “actually” guy but it appears the sales tax was retired in 2015

Yeah, voters in Brown County, where the stadium is located, voted overwhelmingly in favor of a 1/2 cent additional sales tax to fund the upgrades. My dad was so pissed about it, he didn't shop in that county until it ended.

Might be comical hearing some here pronounce that.

Shareholder do get a vote on Board of Directors and attend yearly corporate meetings. It's a nonprofit so no one gets a dividend. Only the Pres of the board gets paid, all other execs work gratis.

What the frick is this bullshite?!

I've always thought the Packers ownership structure was really cool.

To be sure, the stock will have no value, pay no dividend and allow no say in team matters, but the Packers are offering shares of "ownership" for just the sixth time in franchise history and the first time in 10 years.

So…$300 donation without the tax deduction?

Do I at least get a plaque?

You get an official stock certificate and I'm sure you can buy an official plaque to show off said certificate.

It may not be around anymore but there was a German deli/beer place in Orange,CA (maybe Anaheim?) that was owned by an old Packer fan. I remember he had Packers stock certificates from the 50s on the wall and one from 1997. This would have been pre-2008.

But you can go to the shareholders meeting in the summer, held inside Lambeau. My brother and I bought one for our mom last time and framed it with pictures of us at the games. Was a cool gift, and i assume they're doing it around the holidays for that reason.

Pro: The reason that they are still in Ashwaubenon even though Lambeau wanted to move them to Los Angeles.

You need to check the city map. It goes around Lambeau for that block.

Louisiana has their own fair share of weird names but that one along with Oconomowoc and Weyauwega would trip them up.

Reminds me of the hoops video where they had a bunch of out of state players try to announce the Indian town names... they hilariously struggle and then Pritzl at the end just rips through them

I think ashwaubenon, wauwatosa, weyauwega, among others were in there.

Mostly ceremonial, but it's not millionaire execs ripping off the yokels like some seem to think. There's no millionaire execs and the fans know what they're getting

When did that change? So the Don Hutson center is in Ashwaubenon?

I think it's always been like that, but yes, Don Hutson and all the Holmgren Way bars are in ashwaubenon.

ETA: I love the cheesy packer street names...Holmgren Way, Brett Favre Pass, etc

What is your go-to for the bars around Lambeau? Anduzzi's and Stadium View are decent in my opinion, I don't like Kroll's West since we always ordered for them through work and they fricked up my order multiple times.

Always been our go to. They have full scale concerts after the games. Super fun.

Kroll's West

The family of the wife of a guy i graduated high school with owns it. It was a place we'd always go after games in high school but has gotten pretty bad over the years. My mom (a 60 year Geebs resident) won't go there anymore and that used to be her place.

I'll also usually find a random townie bar to hit but they did a great job with the titletown district so we go there as well. Hinterland brewery, the skating rink, sledding hill, full field to run patterns and kick field goals...

Love that place on home packer games.

Most people don't know these towns as they are much smaller but Ixonia and Muscoda are a couple that get slaughtered regularly.

Even the locals call Oconomowoc by it's nickname Cooney often as not.
