They say FSU is out.

The Bear compared their offense to Iowa

I think FSU earned it and there's less than a 1% chance they're left out but I'm shocked Fox is simping for Alabama

what i don't understand is the inconsistency. all the fox "experts" keep saying that we need to place emphasis on Texas' win against bama in tuscaloosa, saying that the results on the field should matter

but when it comes to FSU, the goal posts change and it suddenly becomes, "are they one of the 4 best teams?"

seems hypocritical and attempt to discredit the seminoles b/c of travis

Hancock says committee mission is deserving not best.

Based on 2 games without an elite starting QB do you honestly believe Florida State is one of the 4 best teams.

FWIW I think it's a stupid argument and FSU earned their spot. Alabama had their chance against Texas and didn't come through. Everybody else is undefeated. It is what it is.

I truly believe the 3 best teams are Texas Georgia and Alabama and I honestly don't know what order. If they played each other 10 times each they might go 5-5

So if Texas wins great.

If somebody beats Texas and wins good for them.

If somebody beats somebody that beats Texas good for them too.

FSU is out, I can’t wait for the crying.

It’s actually better for FSU to be out, because they can cry for all eternity how they were screwed, but if they were to get in they would just get killed.

Are you stupid?

FSU best win was Alabama's forth hardest game on their schedule (Georgia, Texas and Miss are better than LSU).

FSU's second best win got beat by Kentucky, a team Alabama destroyed two weeks prior.

How is playing a significantly easier schedule deserving?

So again... are you stupid?

I truly believe that oregon is one of the 4 best teams. if we're gonna say 4 best, that means eye test. let's call a spade, a spade

so if we're doing 4 best, right now, I'd say UGA, UM, Oregon, and texas

I think Oregon would beat washington 4/7. but see how ridiculous that sounds, if we say 4 best, w/o qualifying it? either results on the field matter, or it's just eye test

only reason eye test should matter is if there's a tie in the results/objective criteria

They won't be left out

In fantasyland if they were and hypothetically drew UGA in the Orange Bowl and dominated with Alabama winning the ship I could see the AP voting them #1 and they claim a split championship like USC did in the BCS system in 2003

FSU beat 8 Power 5 teams that are bowl eligible. One ranking I just saw on Twitter said they had the 3rd most difficult schedule in the nation. I know those polls can be skewed a million ways, but the 8 P5 teams can't

Saban has put out help from his buddies in the media. This is 2011 all over again. A more deserving team is going to get left out over a team that had its head coaching whining like a little bitch about how their loss is better except this time one team didn’t lose and the other beat you at home by double digits.

You have it backwards, he said the opposite this week
quote:

”It is best. ‘Most deserving is not anything in the committee’s lexicon. They are to rank the best teams in order, and that’s what they do. Just keep that word in mind: best teams.”

Undefeated Power 5 champion…end of argument. Doesn’t matter who thinks they might not be worthy. They met the criteria for an automatic bid, so to speak. Kind of shitty to move the goal posts because Alabama threw a wrench in the committee’s usual plans. Flip a coin for that last spot between Bama and Texas, but FSU is in.

So FSu should be punished for their schedule and going undefeated?

Hate the committee and this stupid system rather than the team doing everything necessary

Ok but they would've earned it. It's not their fault their QB got hurt. If he's healthy then this wouldn't even be a discussion so why is it now?

This is the 3rd most difficult schedule in the country?

Somebody's lying.

Because he isn't healthy and unavailability of players due to injury is specifically listed as something that should be considered in the criteria

What's the confusion?
