Except they won’t go into the playoffs so your entire premise is bullshite.

Will going straight from HS make a bigger difference than transferring into a SWAC school? I ask because these teams have gotten transfers from big schools for years. Davin Cotton was the most dominant player I ever saw at the middle school level. Went to Southern after a year at LSU. How much have you heard from him since?

You think the reason JSU doesn’t play more FBS/P5 is because they don’t want to? They would have every non-conference game be against FBS/P5 if it were up to them. That’s how those school’s entire athletic budgets are paid for. They’ll literally play anyone anywhere that they are given the opportunity to play.

Coach Prime has specifically said that JSU will not play pay-day fodder games.

Waste of talent. Will play inferior competition and never develop.to their potential. Jackson State isn't any good anyways. Won't even go into the FCS playoffs because they'd get curbs stomped and their myth would be shattered.

Because getting crushed by a mid level P5 65-3 would hurt Prime's ego.

They'd get crushed if they scheduled a top level FCS team like a Valley or Big Sky school.

Wait til these guys find out they’ll live in Jackson, Miss., and will play in all of the shithole stadiums in the SWAC.

Like when he canceled the Evangel game when he was coaching HS, the week of the game.

How are you certain that this guy won’t develop? Sharpe, Payton, Wentz and McNair all developed just fine going to smaller schools and these schools haven’t been getting the cream of the crop lately so I’m more than sure these kids will turn out fine as long as they stay focused and wanting to get better.

SWAC football has the highest attendance of all FCS conferences

They will be crying when their draft stock drops due to inferior competition. You have to show what your can do against high level competition.

That doesn’t refute what was said. The facilities in the swac are shite. Probably because of people stealing money that was intended to improve them, see: Grambling.

Mizzou would've been in on this guy but Burden and him have had issues and Mizzou chose Burden. Also not sure if it's true but rumors are Coleman has grade issues.

A bunch of guys from the 70s and 80s and Wentz who played at the NDSU juggernaut in the toughest FCS conference in the Valley. Not great examples there.

He'll be going up against the #1 cornerback prospect in the country everyday at practice. Seem's like that could help both of their development.
