49ers fans are so out of control that even Raider fans think they need to calm down and act right....

They're top 3, but I feel like every time a brawl sends someone to the hospital, it's 49er fans

Ahh how I love watching games from the comfort of my own couch these days. Technology is awesome.

Really? People beaten to "critical condition" 5+ times per game? MmK.

A lot of NFL teams have extremely trashy fan bases.

Worst group I have ever seen in person was in the late 90's when the Falcons were good. The "Dirty Bird" crowd that showed up in the Superdome for a Falcons/Saints game was scary, at best.

Hey! It's all relative. Wearing a polo and getting hit with ice is equivalent to wearing a jersey and getting hit with a fist.

It's the California gang element.
Could not pay me to go to any LA or Oak or SF games.

Oh my god that's terrible! Did you survive? How long were you hospitalized?

This. There are trashy fans in every fan base, but California seems to be the only state where fans are being beaten to near death with the regularity. It happened again the other night at an Anaheim Angels game.

It was traumatic. I was raised in an upper middle class family, so clearly this behavior was offensive.

Still going strong. The ice couldn't melt my resolve.

I was able to walk away without noticeable physical trauma. However, the incident painted a disparaging picture of Saints' fans.

If this satire is all above your head, lead me bring it down to your level. There are crappy immature thug fans at every NFL stadium except for Indy and Jacksonville.

In a lot of cases sure. However, these guys (and others in the NFL) are just thugs looking for trouble.

A lot of it is security, too. There are clearly security issues and lapses at places like Levi's and Dodger Stadium. I'm glad Stow's family got millions from McCourt and the Dodgers. They don't emphasize safety, they let these gang bangers wreak havoc.

I've seen fights break out at the Superdome (like they do at every stadium/area), and security is usually extremely responsive and often snuffs it out before it gets out of hand. I sat in the terrace last year for a handful of games and there was a very stable, noticeable presence of police and security. When someone started acting up, they were either removed or warned right away. We even got a security 'visit' to our row for using too much profanity.
