“Moriah “Mo” Wilson was killed in Austin, Texas on Wednesday, May 11. She was 26-years-old.
According to CBS Austin, the Austin Police Department responded to a call late Wednesday night and found Wilson dead from a gunshot wound inside a home in central Austin. The incident is under investigation as a ‘suspicious death.’”

Investigators arrived and found Wilson with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving measures from both officers and EMS, Wilson died from her injuries and was pronounced dead minutes later.

Maybe but they weren't roommates, Mo was in town for a race and was staying at the friend's house. Mo lived in Colorado I think, but definitely didn't live in Austin.

I thought it could be a bigger name in cycling but the person you’re thinking of is Kristin Armstrong who has no ties to Austin and appears to be living a perfectly happy and boring life as a retired Olympic athlete.

Where did this all happen at? I saw something on KXAN but never saw any follow up. They're too busy whining about Candlewood Suites owners being mad about a break in.

On the East Side...but the Globe article says it was in an apartment, but the Austin news said Maple near 17th...there are no apartments there. The closest are The Commons, which are Maple and E. 22nd.

There’s a lot of duplex type and small number apartment complexes in those areas, could be one of those
I’ve seen a newer trend in east side that will have a building that looks like a house from the outside, but they’ll build the house to Have external entrances into each room connected by the common area, and roommate match people. Could be some gray area that this is fitting into which could be the reason the info is mixed
