I missed all of the later games yesterday because a storm blew through and knocked power out until about 30 minutes ago. After looking at the replays, the refs made the right call. The Western Michigan guy jumped from out of bounds and touched the ball with a second left on the clock.

Watch the replay footage. There was one second on the clock when the State player touched the ball, but he jumped in from out of bounds. It was the correct call.
By the way, all the game clocks are synchronized by strobes before the game.

And the clock NBC was using was the stadium clock that had been synced w/strobes making the claim by the Big 10 that the officials somehow had a secret clock that was different extremely suspicious.

NBC just said the official game clock is technically not the “official” clock. Well that definitely contradicts what the Big 10 released last night saying all the clocks are synced. Also, the broadcast official last night said they're synced.
