I haven’t seen or heard leftists like Florio, Sharpe, Kellerman, etc. ripping the Jaguars or Tebow since his jersey went to #1 on Friday and now holds the top FIVE positions in their various incarnations.

You really love to see something wholesome and good for a change in American sports

I just think it's an obvious publicity stunt that won't result in any on the field success. Has nothing to do with his religion, skin color, or politics. But good luck to him. It's not like I WANT to see him fail

You can't hate a guy like Tebow. When he was at Florida I grew tired of the media incessantly fawning over him. Who could have ever foreseen the media demonizing the very same virtues they praised him for just over a decade ago?

Ill have to disagree. Its definitely a publicity stunt designed to make the Jaguars a little money. Most people are willing to admit that. But the level of vitriol towards Tebow in this situation would be much lower if he were black. We are just way too deep into the tribalism at this point and its kinda depressing

Yeah there are 4 camps.

1. people who stupidly think that he is getting preferential treatment because he is white and want him to fail.

2. People are supporting him hardcore and want him to succeed because of number 1, and because they like him as a person.

3.

think Meyer wants him for his leadership and work ethic in camp. Then gives him a coaching job after they cut him, but maybe waits until next year for that.

I’m in the 4th camp. I think Meyer wants him for his leadership and work ethic in camp. Then gives him a coaching job after they cut him, but maybe waits until next year for that.

And I’m completely indifferent about it. Do not care.

You can tell a lot about a man by the kind of dogs he keeps.

Tebow is a great man.

That’s just what they want to shove down your throat and make you think. Sales of his merch say otherwise.

I don’t know about the coaching part, but I agree with the leadership/culture aspect. I’m also indifferent.

Adding MLB to list of sports I’m boycotting

Posted by SirWinston on 4/2/21 at 3:24 pm

Today’s news isn’t shocking, just disappointing. Lifelong baseball fan - grew up watching the Braves and listening to the Astros in suburban NOLA every night. Became a huge Brewers fan when I moved to Milwaukee and became tight with Brauny. A bridge too far - canceling my MLB.TV app and asking for a refund today. Adding MLB to NBA, MLS, and college basketball in terms of my boycotts. All my Brewers gear into the waste bin as of 1:20PM Pacific time. Image: LINK

How’s that boycott going?

The fake Brit has boycotted all major sports because he’s a simpering little ball of pussyfooting nonsense. He still illegally streams all sports and is deeply invested in all sporting news.

In other words, he’s a vacuous waste of existence.
