Former Wake Forest and Denver Broncos cornerback.

Before he killed himself he posted essentially a suicide note on Facebook where he claims he was abused as a child and ended up doing the same to others. Then asks forgiveness.

Props to him for admitting it’s wrong and showing how abused kids then turn into statutory rapist when they grow. It should be considered a crime equal to murder.

I don't really know what to think of that note. He pretty much covered it all that there's not really much to add. It's sad that he was abused as a kid. It's sad the he perpetuated the cycle when he got older. It's sad that a wife and kids were subject to his abuse and now he's gone before he can be prosecuted. He already admitted to being a coward and not a good person.

Heavy stuff. Hope his family can move past this and be ok

Yeah, this one of those you don’t really know how to react. Just incredibly sad all around.

This is way more common in the black community than what is talked about.

Props to him for not taking people out on his way out. He owned it and decided to spare his family the shame.

Although he has now caused despair and pain.

I appreciate his honesty.

I hope that helps bring closure to his victims.

And it won’t be a part of any SNL skit. It’s very prevalent in the white trash culture, as well.
