Also, what does clutch even mean? Curry needed his foot on the line shot to miss and an offensive rebound just to get the chance to be clutch in Game 3.

Clutch is something that can't be defined, you just know it when you see it. I know it sounds corny but it's true in every sport.

@RicBucher: Wait, did Doc just say, "I never complain but..."? Doc Rivers? Doc Rivers of the Los Angeles Clippers? That Doc Rivers?

Paul is a great player but I would go to war in the Playoffs with Parker over him any day of the week.

If CP3 and Tony Parker traded teams, the Spurs would sweep this series. CP3 is a much better defender and overall player than Tony Parker. Paul has taken over in playoff games before too. I mean, the fact that I'm defending Chris Paul probably means this world is coming to an end because I can't stand that baby.

I'm going to miss this guy whenever he decides to retire.

People that thought he would be a difference maker in the playoffs are ridiculous, they are the same people that thought the Hawks had a chance. Superstars are really all that matters in the playoffs because they can make ANY role player seem great.

Maybe this year but Parker's foot is all fricked and his leg is as well. In late December I broke my ankle and tore my Achilles, those are two of his injuries but his may not be as bad, and I can't even jog 4 months later. The fact he is close to my age and playing in games that are on this level, along with his quad injury, just shows what a beast he is.

This. I'm shocked he's effective at all.

But he really does run our offense like no one else can, as long as he's not pressing for his own shot.

Frenchie McWonderbutt is so underrated

Even when his gay lover says hey look and when Duncan turns around his lover has his arse cheeks spread and farts in his face while a cum bubble blows out of his booty hole?

Duncan is easily one of my favorite players ever but IRL he is gay as frick. There is nothing wrong with it and I respect everything about the man but I think he keeps his emotions in check the way he does so he doesn't act all gay in front of the camera. He probably learned it as a defense mechanism at a young age and it has ended up serving him well. Still, to my man Timmy

Remember that one season everyone was out for like half the year and he led the NBA in scoring during those few months? If he had been on an average team during his career and had to carry the load more I bet most would see him as better than CP3

I am not hating at all, I love that dude and have since his rookie season, but come on! I think that has a lot to do with his demeanor, why he was always played in SA, why he was never really done endorsements etc but whatever....more power to him.

I mean, Parker is probably a better scorer, but no way is he the better all around player. Just no way. Defense is also a part of the game and Paul might be the best defender at the PG position in the league. Parker's not very good. Don't get me wrong, Parker is still a very good player and has been excellent for his whole career, but CP3 is easily top 10 in the league every year.

Yeah, the biggest detriment to Parker is that his best years were the Spurs' "worst" (relatively) during this run of contention during the Big3 era. 2006ish-2013, he was the best thing we had going, and a legit MVP candidate some years.

Shame he'll probably never get his full due, but I don't think he cares--he has 4 rings

@arisports: @HPbasketball Chris Paul is averaging 26 and 10 in exactly 60 playoff games. But yeah, he's a loser.

I actually think this stat is wrong, but still, 21 and 10 is pretty dang good.

Parker has never been an elite defender. His strengths are speed and running the Spurs' offensive machine.

I just call it the way I see it. If I am trying to get a rise out of people I always try to make it super obvious and ridiculous, you would know.

It is unreal. I hate how often I find myself having to defend CP3 and BG on here
