Also this week...

Idaho @ Florida St. - (What's the spread on that one?)
Citadel @ Clemson
Coastal Carolina @ South Carolina
Georgia Southern @ Florida

ETA: Maybe it's a southern thing...

Another reason college football leaves a lot to be desired. At least the playoff is coming next year

Everyone play cupcakes. But I wish Division I teams would quit playing these D-II, D-III schools. It is embarrassing and boring as hell.

I remember reading a statistic that there are just a few teams that have never played a non-Division I team in football. I think it's USC, UCLA, and Notre Dame. Good for them.

This is always a big cupcake weekend in CFB, because you have so many big rivalry games next weekend.

Next week Clemson plays SC & FSU plays Florida. Notice a trend yet.

Alabama and LSU have only played Division I schools.

Understood. But there is a difference in scheduling Div I vs D-II and lower. I think it's horse manure for major programs to schedule teams in these lower divisions. Just my opinion. Some schools have not stooped to that level. I wish LSU and others wouldn't.

Cupcakes are supposed to be early, to limit risk of losing while getting everything together. They're not meant to be played the 3rd week of November.

But yet Ohio St was crucified in the media for playing Florida AM. Could you imagine the outrage that would be going on if Ohio St was #2 in polls having played Florida St's schedule AND was playing Idaho this week? I mean holy lord! lol I'm trying to figure out how Florida St has gotten such a free pass to this point? Let me state that im not making an argument for Ohio St at this point, just suggesting the bitch fest that we all know would be going on if this were Ohio St.
