This is the correct answer. NOT, everybody does it so that's just how it has to be.

It's lame and should change.

My point was the timing. And the fact that Ga. State and Chattanooga were sooo bad and sooo new of the newbies. UAB and Furman at least have been established solid D1 programs for years. Heck, UAB beat us back in our Saban era.

I know we all have to schedule these because we can't fill the schedules without them, and the lowers need the revenue, but I kinda like the idea of maybe adding conf games and maybe adding
a bye and reducing the cupcakes to one or none.

Bama and LSU both play cupcakes.

Bama beat LSU. Has a three game winning streak in the series. Worry about your own team/program instead of being so obsessed with Bama. It's getting sad.

Nah: Chattanooga The school's first football team was fielded in 1909. The team plays its home games at the 20,668 seat Finley Stadium. They are coached by Russ Huesman.

Nah: In contrast to many other colleges and universities that have decades of tradition, UAB only began its football program in the early 1990s. Jim Hilyer was the first head coach of the Blazers, coaching from 1991-1994. Beginning with the first NCAA sanctioned Division III football team in 1991

The SEC office wouldn't let Alabama schedule LSU twice during the regular season so somebody had to fill the spot.

This is why we need to go to 9 conference games so every SEC teams isn't playing 3 cupcake games.

Should be 9 conference games, 1 solid OOC, 2 cupcakes (at worst).

Saban voted for this. Miles and the rest of the SEC coaches voted against it.

I really hate Bamasessed LSU posters. They make LSU fans the second stupidest fanbase on this site (after Alabama fans, of course).

They are really starting to make the fanbase look like a bunch of pubescents.

Bama could play a middle school team this weekend and it wouldn't matter. They're #1 and they've proven they belong there. Nobody outside of their fanbase likes it but no one has stepped the frick up and beaten them either.

Correct. As hard to swallow as it is, LSU fans have to admit that LSU is not the top team in the SEC.

It's easy to discern the good LSU fans from the Bama-sessed LSU fans.

I try not to hold it against y'all. Just as I hope most of y'all don't hold our bad apples against us.

Plus they are a fun bunch to mess with.

And not too mention, isn't the FCS Championship game usually held on UT-C's home field?

It was up until a few years ago. Then they moved it to a new stadium in Frisco, TX.

Watched a bunch of FCS championships back in the day. Stormed the field with Appy State twice.

No era lasts forever. No coach stays forever. Good to see LSU fans still march to the same beat they did when I signed up here back in 2007. Too bad they wound up being wrong about...well, almost everything.

Chattanooga is 8-3 and #1 in their conference. They also have a quality win over Furman.

Should be a great game Saturday
