re: Alabama going for 7 championships in 13 years (2009-2021)

Normal TD trolling aside, it really is absolutely insane what he's been able to accomplish at Alabama. There will never be another run even close to this again in college football.
Bama fans just say this because they cannot perceive it happening at another school. This very well could happen at another school.
Alabama as a state is quite shitty in terms of good athletes, it is not on the level of Florida, Georgia, Texas, California, Ohio and Louisiana. This Bama dynasty is largely due to a weak Miami, USC, and a well equipped LSU program that could not put politics aside and hire a great coach to continue the dynasty Saban built.
Stop thinking you are great because you are Bama.

Even when they started awarded it after the bowl games,
Fun fact Alabama “won” the last title in both polls (AP 64 UPI aka coaches 73) that was awarded before the bowls and lost the bowl game both times. The kicker is they “ won” it in 65 only because the AP waited until after the bowls and in 73 split with Notre Dame who beat Bama in the Sugar Bowl

So for example if that happened in 2016, Bama wouldn’t necessarily play no.2 Clemson.
Same applies to 2015 for Clemson

How many would he have if he had to meet the same standards as, say, a tier 2 program like LSU or Oklahoma St where you HAVE to win your division AND conference title to even be considered? 3? 4?
I still laugh at how criminal the officiating was against UGA a few years ago to win that one. Only Bama could have a WR a full yard down the field before the snap on a 4th and goal and get away with it. Lol
This doesn’t even cover the other blatant calls they got before that.
I’m not denying Sagan is great, but between crooked officials, favorable schedules, loaded rosters, then mulligan after mulligan, he SHOULD be winning OFTEN. How he still needs all this to succeed is laughable, but that’s CFB.

This year's Alabama team has no business being NCs. But yet Saban has them 12-1 and the #1 seed going into the playoffs somehow.
I get what you are saying based on the way the team has played at times, but they still have the most talented roster top to bottom in the country.

THIS
When your second string is full of 4 and 5 stars, you SHOULD dominate weekly. Yet many are acting like this is some huge accomplishment.

What you just said was so weird, irrelevant, and wrong, I'm almost tempted to assume you're just trolling and not a retard.
I’m going with he already has the lobotomy.
Every single team that won a BCS title had won a poll MNC as did Clemson before their first playoff title

Bear Bryant only had one legit title...

It was a different animal back then.
You lost a game, you were out.
Now you get to replay games, playoffs, etc. It was much more difficult to win a MNC pre-2010.
Tell me how many undefeated seasons does Bama have with those MNCs? Because most in history were undefeated.
Dilutes the accomplishment and lowers the stature if you understand history and the role ESPN has played. Its far easier for Bama to win today.
Shite they used to say in the 2000s, if we had a playoff USC would win every year...because they were always demolishing opponents at the end of the year...but they would stub their toe by a few points on the road and that was it back then.
Name the only two loss NC team in NCAA history?

You have built a nice little website empire and yet you’re in a never ending melt over Alabama’s title numbers. Just go ahead and go bump your thread over on SEC Rant.

Would have to see his reasoning but 61 and 79 were undefeated

In 5 of the 6 national championships of Bryant's Alabama was named national champion by the AP. The other Alabama was named national champion by the Coaches' Poll. Y'all can hate the system we had back then, but it was the only system we had then.

That two loss team still had to win their division, then conference title to be considered

You cant have this both ways. Bama would likely have several championships in different seasons under the old model
2008: 12-0 Regular Season. The SEC Championship in which they lost to Florida doesn't occur before 1992
2009: 14-0 National Champions
2012: Bama 12-1 SEC Champions. Notre Dame was undefeated that year. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldnt Bama get them in the Sugar, whips that arse, and claim the Championship?
2014: 12-1 SEC Champions. Every Power-5 team lost a game in the regular season. 12-1 Ohio State goes to the Rose Bowl instead of beating Bama in the Sugar
2016: 13-0 SEC Champions. Undefeated Clemson goes to Orange Bowl instead of playing Bama in the National Championship
2018: 13-0 SEC Champions. Undefeated Clemson goes to Orange Bowl instead of playing Bama in the National Championship
2020: Undefeated National Champions

Sometimes I really wish Saban had this dominant run in another conference. Having to watch Saban beat us year in and year out, effectively ending our hopes at winning the SECW.
I'd be able to appreciate just how great of a coach he is without always hating his guts.

He hit it at the exact right time. Got mulligans when needed, technology allows for easier national recruiting, and now transfer portal basically allows him to fill any needs.
All credit due, but he is operating in an environment that is very friendly to the guy on top.

Agreed, cannot fathom any coach having that type of run. Hell, most coaches wouldn’t last at one program for that long because they’ll move on to other programs or the NFL.
With that said, can we finally get to the point that we’re we’ve all moved on and are looking back on his career and accomplishments

What would he have done had he NEVER left LSU?

Alabama wasn't far off from 8 in row:
2011 - won
2012 - won
2013 - undefeated and #1 before last game (Auburn Kick 6)
2014 - lost in playoff to hot as fire Ohio State team
2015 - won
2016 - lost in CFPNC game on final play TD by Clemson
2017 - won
2018 - Lost in CFPNC game (admittedly it was a beat down so not really "close" to winning NC in that regard)
