Have they read the book?
literary, educational. As long as it is not a comic book, could be an exception

What about a porn star to sign my penis?

Meh, seeking autographs doesn't bother me. How the people act in the process of getting said autograph is more of an issue is a different story.

At the Masters they only allow autographs in one area and you have to be 16 or younger to get in. That's how it should be done...

I don't do it. But I understand some people are collectors and maybe they have been doing it since they were 12. Or getting autographs from sports figures who were huge when the seeker was 12. Also collecting for your kid??

What if you are trying to get one for your kid?

Why do you care? It makes that person happy and isn't hurting anyone.

I have a samurai sword signed by Randy Jackson.

What do you care. Live and let live. That's like the people who get their panties in a bunch over adults wearing jerseys. Who cares?

I'd let Brees give me an autograph with a tattoo gun

Says who? You? GTFO
Why do you care? Jesus, it is like the people who give a shite what other people wear.
I don't care. Live life and be happy. Not worrying about stupid shite is why I have an awesome full head of hair.

Anyone can get an autograph, age doesnt matter. If you ask politely and at a correct time ( not during game or round) it is fine. FWIW, I had to get Rickie Fowler's autograph on pro-am day for my teenage daughter. I marshalled on #10 tee and asked him while they waited for a group to clear. He was very nice about it.

I think initially (before the omnipresent phone cameras) an autograph was more of just a "skin on the wall" so when you told someone you met a famous person, they believed you. I'd much rather a picture with someone famous than an autograph. To me, an autograph without meeting said person isn't worth much, unless it's a historical document (ie something signed by Abe Lincoln).
ETA: autographs are okay if for a kid.
