Have you ever seen Ponder play?

Yes.

He has a better QB Rating, better Completion % and less interceptions.

Come on, man. He has a lot of interceptions, yes, rookies usually do. But, he has WON games for them this year.

Adrian Peterson is a man.

Go with that if you want but if you've seen both play you'd know those stats mean next to nothing. Ponder isn't asked to win games...Luck is.

I acknowledge that, but winning is still a team statistic, especially in football.

ETA: Look I think Luck is going to be a very good QB in the league for a long time, right now though, he is not one.

Ask Reggie Wayne if Luck has made a difference between last year's team and this year's.

He has made a huge difference, a 7 win difference.

That doesn't make him a good NFL starter, and especially not an MVP candidate.

What Peterson and Megatron do on bad football teams is a lot more impressive then what Brady/Manning have done.

Meh, Brady is always amazing so its become ordinary.

Megatron hasn't done shite compared to Manning when you consider the guy has completely changed his game on a new team with brand new receivers and a brand new system. He really can't stretch the field anywhere near as much anymore, so he's been Chad Pennington on steriods.

I've got AP going in fantasy today. Eases the pain of Cutler playing like a hobo.

He needs to average 147 yards over the next 2 games. Can he do it?

Yep.

Idiot.

Luck has far more responsibilities than the majority of the QB's in the NFL. They are pass first team, and he throws further downfield than any other QB. He takes risks and accomplishes great throws. RG3 may be statistically better than Luck, but Luck has impressed me more with his body of work.

If you put the training wheels on Luck (ala RG3 or Alex Smith), then he would have similar numbers to them. Luck is already good. Do not blindly look at a couple numbers that can be deceptive.
