Yea I'm with you. Your job as a pinter is to punt unless it's a fake. Punter made a stupid decision. Fake punts aren't built off reads they are pretty straight forward.

that's one big thing about spread punting. it opened up the ability to create those scenarios, and when they're open, punters are supposed to take them

A coach will tell the punter when a fake or read is on. You're suggesting coaches are leaving play calling to punters now. They wear soccer cleats and weight 159 with a 5.1 40 yard dash.
