It's still raining w/ more on the way. 15K tops would be my guess for the crowd ?

That’s what I’d expect.

Forever people in Acadiana always said “I’d start going to games if they would actually win”.

Team finish the last two seasons ranked in Top 25, and the community still won’t support them. There’s always some BS excuse.

I was going to go, but f&$k all this rain. I’m not driving an hour to Lafayette to sit in the rain for ULL. I’m a fair weather fan

congrats on the 2 coaches votes. 6 PM can’t come soon enough, although I expect you to flake out once SLU rams that arse.

Where you at?

There’s a reason we finished top 25 the past two seasons and it has nothing to do with how many fans we have or how our schedule compares to a p5 school. We just play damn good football.

New QB and Metairie native Chandler Fields looks like a definite improvement as a passer compared to Lewis.

Up 17-0 on SLU in the 2nd.

Deal if we do spread. I don’t expect to win outright, but think we cover -14.5.

Spread looks about right at this point

After watching the App St vs UNC game earlier, I’m talking zero smack till the game clock reads 0:00.

That chop block negating the touchdown sealed the game. 2 bad INT’s late didn’t help either. Should have been at least a score or two closer but alas ULL covered.

Congrats to the Cajuns in the win. They are well coached. Have a couple powerful backs and a great game day qb. They are similar to the lions in the secondary as both conferences will need to shutdown 4 wideout offenses.

Lions just need more reps at the spread option. Coach will cough this up as all him, hopefully. Good day, good win for the state.

Offense looked atrocious, but defense really played their hearts out. 2 plays go different and it’s a 17-14 game, and really we recover that fumble on the first drive who knows.

Same to y’all. Fun Belt looks like it will be wide open and entertaining as hell this season.

Dude the lions took a long time to gel. Qb is an athlete and unfortunately the entire offense is depending if the defense throws another outside linebacker in the box. The underclassmen running back was great. But until they can throw the sidelines and over the kill zone, they won’t be able to score 35.

Y’all played well, hopefully the guys that went down for y’all are back soon.

I think Suits is the better QB, at least as a passer. Should be another SLC title for the Lions.
