About the murder of Tessa Majors up in New York City

Most of us heard about the murder of the college Freshman at Barnard College up in NYC. She was walking alone at 5:39 in the afternoon and was set upon by a group of people and was fatally stabbed with lots of wounds inflicted.
Her connection to sports is that she was part of the Majors family who over time have been so important to Tennessee Football. Not only was her Uncle Johnny Majors the Coach, he was also a player as were many of the men in his family.
So far, only a thirteen year old has been arrested.

So this girl was minding her own business and a group of people walked up and stabbed her to death?

I just don’t understand the logic.
Can’t you just rob scared little blonde girls all day? Just keep doing it. If one resists then just frick right off and get the next one.
What would compel someone to stab someone going about their goddamn business? If the robbery doesn’t work just go catch a sandwich and a breather across the street and start robbing later.
I truly think these people need to be publicly tortured.

It was a 13 year old that has been arrested. He was probably being initiated into a gang. They dont have the same thinking normal people do. Of course to us it seems absolutely crazy, but they do not value life at all.

It's not about her being 'white', its about an innocent person who happens to be a young college student in the bloom of youth being stabbed to death in day time hours in a neighborhood with a lot of other college students. This is the type of shite the the NY police force/politicians have been trying to get rid of for decades -- actually somewhat successfully. Murder rates are quite low in NYC for a city of its size. But when this happens, it's a big deal to New Yorkers and the NY Times which is the biggest newspaper in the US -- so the story makes it everywhere. This was on their online front page like 2 days ago. NYC prides itself on being the safest big city in the US, it's one of the reasons it is able to draw talented people from all over the world to come there; so almost any time something like this happens it's a story. A very sad one in this case.

But in all honesty complete, room-temperature IQ stupidity plays a huge role
