I could see that point. To me the difference is Dart simply introduced POTUS. Thats really it. No speech. No commentary.

But Carter went full on social justice. Like this was a cause he was compelled to speak out.

He has the right to his own opinion.

However so does Dart

Fun fact: Carter, picked #3 overall, had as many solo tackles (25) as Danny Stutsman, picked #112 overall. Stutsman has more combined tackles.

I disliked this dude from jump because he asked for, and thought he deserved, to wear LT's #56. Motherfricker what? The entitlement and audacity is off the charts. You haven't had a sip of coffee as a New York Giant and you want the number of the greatest defensive player of all time? Nah, man, you need a reality check. Now here he is trying to Kaepernick his own team. fricking shitbird.

He’s gonna get cut or traded because of that statement.

He may get cut or traded. But not bc of this. If he is good, he can beat people in the street - which he did by the way. If he sucks, he will be gone.

his actions show that he thinks his opinion weighs more than Dart's. that's why he blasted this publicly to the new york media who he knows will go after Dart.

he's a white guy on a majority black team, Carter knows this and he needed all his buddies to back him up because he's a pussy. That's why he didn't talk to Dart personally in the first place

you’re working really hard to have hurt feelings over a dude’s opinion.

Generally I agree but he didn’t make and post a instagram story. This was a filmed press conference. The only connection to social media is that’s how you watched it

Social media is what gave him the confidence to spout off his opinion like it matters.

We have an entire generation of people who grew up with social media and the idea that other people want to hear their opinions on all matters. It used to be that you had to have some sort of relevance to have a microphone put in front of your face for you to give your opinion. This narcissistic generation thinks that their opinions need to be heard on any and all matters.

You don’t undercut your franchise QB, especially when he didn’t do anything wrong.

If the Giants do release or trade Carter he will call them Islamophobes and say it’s racist.

What are we doing? One side wants it all their way

You imagine somebody came out and said a player who endorsed Obama “it’s my right to say I’m against it”?

The media has done its job, we’re fricked as a country cause everyone listens to the fricking media and thinks we hate each other

I would like Abdul to give us one good reason he hates Donald Trump.

Then I’d like him to tell us why Trump is so bad but he doesn’t have a problem with hoodrats committing violent crime at insane rates compared to every other group, and Muslims terrorizing societies around the world. Both of which are groups he’s clearly very proud to belong to.
